Accicent that stole my sight helps me see beyond MS

“Let that sink in; I wasn’t even a year old, and I lost all the vision in my right eye.”

I imagine it was a totally traumatic event for my family when the accident that took my sight happened, but I didn’t know any better.

Even at 4 years old, I saw a world of opportunities despite having no vision in my right eye. Click the pic of little Danny to access my MS Focus article.

I was 11 months old.

But as I got older, I started realizing how much that incident helped me to not dwell on things I’ve lost but instead show gratitude and appreciate everything I have.

Yes, this has been key to helping me move forward since I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis nearly 25 years ago.
