We’ve shared our stories, experiences and perspectives from our lives with Multiple Sclerosis with people here on our blog for nearly 12 years.
Our written words sparked conversations, inspired our first book, encouraged others living with MS and humbled us in the process.
Here’s to hoping you all also will benefit from our spoken words and short videos through our newly established YouTube channel, A Couple Takes on MS. Yes, it’s the same name as our website/blog, and yes, you can count on our same authentic voices of hope, frustration and optimism that you’ve come to expect of us one our blog these past dozen years, and yes, we will actively continue to maintain this blog with our news and engaging stories.
We encourage you to check out our YouTube channel and subscribe to it while you’re there so you’ll receive notices each time we post new videos.
While we’ve virtually dipped our toes in the YouTube waters since around October of last year, everything got real and “official” last weekend when we posted our first-ever Coffee with A Couple conversation.
In what will serve as a weekly installment on our channel, the episodes will serve as our conversation with you, our viewers and readers, where we connect with you to catch up on the challenges, opportunities and events of our previous week and look to the week ahead. Think of it as real-time reality check of sorts that lets you into the MS moments that make up the lives of this couple with MS.
We hope you enjoy this first episode, where you’ll see why community and connections are so important when dealing with MS, and understand what led Jennifer to say, “Our mutual enemy is Multiple Sclerosis and not each other.”
So grab your cup of coffee (or whatever beverage makes your morning), pull up a chair and make yourself at home while you enjoy Coffee with a Couple.
And remember to hit “Subscribe” to our YouTube channel so you’re sure to catch future conversations and videos.
