A Couple Takes on MS is a storytelling and advocacy platform created by Dan and Jennifer Digmann. Through their podcast, blog, and community engagement, they share real experiences of living with multiple sclerosis, caregiving, marriage, and moving forward together.

Whether you’re newly diagnosed, a care partner, a longtime advocate, or simply looking for a perspective that feels real and hopeful, you’re welcome here.

Dan lives with relapsing-remitting MS. Jennifer lives with secondary progressive MS. Together, they navigate marriage, caregiving, work, advocacy, and the everyday logistics of living with chronic illness.

They use lived experience to challenge assumptions about what life with MS can look like.

Their story includes a chance meeting, a shared sense of humor, and a bond that evolved into a lasting partnership. What defines them most is what came next—more than two decades of marriage, a shared MS journey, and a life built on movement, purpose, and community. MS has shaped their lives, but it has never defined their limits.

Through their podcast, blog, and speaking engagements, A Couple Takes on MS offers honest conversations about living well with MS without sugarcoating the hard parts or centering the narrative on loss. Dan and Jennifer talk openly about accessibility, caregiving, identity, relationships, resilience, and moving forward when the path changes.

Both are deeply involved in the MS community, working with national and regional MS organizations through advocacy, storytelling, fundraising, and public speaking. Their work is grounded in lived experience and driven by a belief that connection and representation matter.

Because life with MS isn’t about standing still.

It’s about people moving forward together.

Our mission is to share honest stories that reflect real life with MS, to build connections, and to remind people affected by MS that they are not alone.
